See the Montana countryside from a different perspective, on horseback! Try our Ride and Glide Packages, a horseback ride combined with a zip line tour, offered at both locations. Its a chance to put some use to all that cowboy apparel you have accumulating in those souvenir bags! From beginners to experienced riders, everyone will leave smiling (and maybe a little bow-legged!).

Gallatin Canyon Location

Broken Hart Ranch wranglers will lead you into the Spanish Peaks Mountain Range up Hell Roaring Drainage on horseback. You will travel through lodge pole pine forest, over a rushing creek and into the high alpine meadows in the backcountry of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness Area.

This is a somewhat challenging trail ride - with many switchbacks and elevation gains, but you do not need experience, just an adventurous attitude. Minimum age is 8 years old. Max weight is 260 pounds.

Gardiner Location

Wilderness Connections will lead you through the historic Stermitz Ranch on horseback. Ride across wildflower meadows as you climb up into the mountains to get a paradise view of Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding region. Wildlife abounds in this pristine area.

This trail ride is suitable for families and all abilities so you can bring the whole family for an adventure. Minimum age is 5 years old. Max weight is 240 pounds.
