Our Half Day Paradise begins at the northern border of Yellowstone National Park, right where the Gardiner River converges with the mighty Yellowstone River. This trip is fun for the whole family! Ride the waves at Man-Eater Hole, Boonie’s Revenge and Sleeping Giant! Take in the breathtaking view of Devil’s Slide. Float through some flat water stretches that are great for swimming and relaxing. This trip is great for first time rafters or family groups with wide age and ability ranges. Minimum age is 6. This trip is 8 miles on the river and can be up to 3 hours approximately depending on water levels (CFS). Boats usually accommodate 8-12 people depending on size and group demands. If your group is interested in this trip with a smaller boat, see the small boat option. This trip does not take you inside park boundaries. No charge for wet suit, river shoes and splash gear rental!… 
If you prefer a more challenging and exciting experience, this is the option for you! On this trip, our private rafts accommodate 4-6 people. A smaller boat gives a more exciting ride as each boater is closer to the water and you are more involved as a crew member, get ready to paddle! This is also a great option if you would like a private experience for your group. Minimum age is 6.

Feeling adventurous? Get out on the water and paddle a one person inflatable kayak, “duckie”! Learn the basic skills with a guide and then try it out for yourself. More excitement than rafting without requiring very much skill. If you are interested in eventually doing some white water kayaking, the duckie is a great way to try out solo boating! You get huge hits!
The duckies are very stable which helps to keep you from flipping over when you hit those big holes and waves. A guide will be there to assist you as you navigate class II rapids. Participants must have good swimming skills and be confident in the water.
